We got to know Pak Ben in 1980 in Soroako after our long trip to Sudbury, Ontario-Canada. Immediately after that he and Kak Soffie became part of our Family friend and it last till the end of his life. We were so amazed with his warm friendship and attention.
Every New Year he and Kak Soffie will come to our house for my birthday, never absence unless we are not in town. It means a lot to us and we always tell our kids how nice the Wahju’s are.
“Whatever a man sows, he will reap.”
Pak Ben has planted lots of good seeds in the fields of his family, career, and human relations. No wonder, everyone love him so much. There are lots of good things about Pak Benni Wahju, he is really one of a few good men. We will always remember him. We are sure that he is happy now in heaven. We miss you Pak Ben.
Be strong Kak Soffie, you are always in our prayer.
God bless you.
Love and hugs, Lucy and Andre Rumantir
