Beni a Friend and a junior colleauge.
It all happened so qickly, so soon, so embarrassing. Not we who decided, it was the Almighty who did, since I knew you for the first time, more than half a century ago, I always have the feeling that you’re so close to me, to my family, to so many people.
Now that you’re no more, I’ve to readjust everything, also the memory that we both share among those, most are of pleasant nature, Because you’re always generous, full of understanding, No bad feelings, nothing of that sort.
I’m writing these lines, trying to phrase in just a few words, Being a token in remembering you as a good friend, Not just in happy times, but also when blues have to be driven away.
As the saying goes, A friend in need is a friend indeed,
Goodbye, Dik Beni
Rest in peace, as HE never breaks HIS promise.
